Bilateral trade between Vietnam and Russia is estimated to rise 50 per cent on year to US$1.5 billion this year, according to Vietnamese Ambassador Bui Dinh Dinh.
“The trade figure is from far reaching the bilateral potentials of the two countries,” Ambassador Dinh noted.
The Communist Party of Vietnam and State and Russian leaders will back further development of the bilateral comprehensive partnership ties, particularly in trade and economic sectors, Dinh said.
Last week, Vietnamese and Russian entrepreneurs met in Moscow to discuss measures to boost economic and trade cooperation. (VNS)
