Vietnam’s Mekong Delta Province Aims for US$500 Mln Export Value This Year
The Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang has targeted set a target US$500 million goods exports this year, said the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT)’s trade information center without reporting on-year comparison.
Rice will remain the province’s biggest cash earner with expected value of US$315 million, followed by seafood with US$170 million and the rest for other exports.
In the first two months of this year, Kien Giang exported US$63 million worth of goods, including US$51 million of rice, US$12 million of seafood. (vinanet.com.vn)
