Vietinbank, Doha Bank Sign E-Money Transfer Deal
The Vietnam Bank for Industry and Trade (Vietinbank) and the Doha Bank of Qatar have inked a deal on e-money transfers, the state-run Tuoi Tre newspaper said Tuesday.
The deal was reached among a number agreements including establishment of a US$1 billion investment fund during Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung’s ongoing visit to Qatar, the paper said.
Vietinbank had raised VND1.1 trillion from selling 53.6 million shares in the first official public offering on December 25 and plans to float the shares on Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange in April. (Youth)
