Vietnam to Continue Exporting Refined IlmeniteOre Till 2010
Vietnam will keep exporting refined Ilmenite ore, a material for titanium production, until 2010, said Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai.
The decision was made in consideration of the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s estimation on the domestic demand for the material, under which, the country will report an abundant amount of refined Ilmenite ore during the period.
The deputy PM also assigned the MoIT, the Vietnam Titanium Association and the People’s Committees of localities where report titanium production activities to keep close eye on Ilmenite ore exports to ensure material for domestic producers and processors. (chinhphu.vn)
