Israel El Al Airlines Opens General Sales Agent in Vietnam

El Al Israel Airlines marked its official presence in Vietnam’s growing civil aviation market as it announced its selection of Mekong Viet Travel Service Co. as its general sales agent in the country. The general sales agent is located at 70 Pham Ngoc Thach Street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.

 

EL AL Airlines is the largest carrier in Israel. Set up in 1948, EL AL transports passengers and freights from Tel Aviv to 48 destinations in four continents. The airlines is working to expand its global coverage with 77 sales offices so far worldwide. It is ranked by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) as one of the world’s three most efficient air carriers.

 

The opening of the general sales agent will facilitate commercial, economic, cultural, educational and training development between Vietnam and Israel. The two countries have been brought to a new level when the two nations established diplomatic relations in July 1993.

 

Mekong Viet will also offer package tours to Jerusalem, a more-than-2,000-year-old Holy Land for Jewish, Catholic and Muslim religions.
