Vietnam Q1 Exports to Germany Down 11.2% to $443.99Mln

Vietnam was estimated to have reaped $443.99 million from exports to Germany in the first quarter of this year, an on-year fall of 11.2%, said the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT)’s information center.
 
Apparel took the lead with $90.75 million, up 8.58% on-year, followed by coffee $74.19 million, down 21.6%, footwear $66.39 million, seafood $44.79 million, up 11.1%, woodwork products $29.58 million, and bags, caps and suitcase $18.62 million.
 
Two-way trade between Vietnam and Germany reached $3.2 billion last year, including $2 billion worth of Vietnamese exports, up 11.7% on-year. (Vinanet.vn)
