Vietnam’s First Oil Refinery to Turn Out 144,400 cu.m of Petrol in June
Vietnam’s first oil refinery, Dung Quat, will produce an additional 144,400 cubic meters of petroleum products to serve domestic market in June this year, said the Quang Ngai province-based Binh Son petrochemical limited company.
The products will include 69,000 cubic meters of gasoline A92, 32,000 cubic meters of diesel oil, 22,400 cubic meters of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), 12,000 cubic meters of kerosene and 9,000 cubic meters of fuel oil, the Youth (Tuoi Tre) newspaper said Tuesday.
To date, PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PV Oil) has distributed nationwide over 9,000 tons of DO produced by the plant.
This year, the US$3.1-billion refinery plans to refine 4.162 million tons of crude oil to turn out 57 million tons of Propylen, 157 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), 102 tons of gasoline A90, 897 tons of gasoline A92, 218 tons of JetA1/Korosene, 1.606 million tons of diesel, and 171 tons of fuel oil (FO).
