Local Investors to Start Work on VND380B Highway Soon
The Construction Machinery Corporation (COMA) and the Thanh Nam Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company (COTANA) will begin construction on a VND380 billion (US$22.48 million) highway in July.
The Hanoi - Hung Yen Highway, linking the north of Thanh Tri Bridge in Hanoi with Hung Yen province’s Van Giang district, is 21 kilometers long.
The construction companies will build the two-lane expressway and then transfer ownership to authorities in Hanoi. The road will be the main highway running along the US$8.2 billion Eco-park that will be built on a site of 500 hectares in Van Giang district.
After the two-year construction is finished, the route will help ease traffic on National Road 5. (Economy & Urban)
