Bitexco, ALMEC-TEDI Sign Deal for Southern Expressway
The Binh Minh Import Export Production and Trade Co., Ltd. (Bitexco) and ALMEC-TEDI consulting consortium on June 10 inked a consultancy deal for Dau Giay-Phan Thiet highway.
Under the agreement, ALMEC-TEDI will provide Bitexco information for design, site clearance and impacts on environment of the project.
The expressway, which has a total investment of VND14.34 trillion (around US$844 million), will start from HCM City-Long Thanh-Dau Giay and ends at Ba Bau, central Binh Thuan province.
The road is 100 kilometers long with six lanes and designed speed of 120 kilometer per hour.
Work on the project is scheduled for completion in 2014 after three-year construction. (Vietnam Economic Times, Young People)
