Vietnam to Reap US$1.138B from Electronics, PC Exports in H1
Vietnam is estimated to have earned US$1.138 billion from exporting electronics, computers and spare parts in the first half of this year, down 5.4 per cent on-year, the Government’s General Statistics Office (GSO) said.
For June, total export value of these products is forecast to reach US$220 million, up 0.917 per cent on-month, said the office.
During the first half, Vietnam is also projected to spend US$1.6 billion on buying electronics, computers and spare parts, down 11.3 per cent on-year to US$350 million in June, up 12.903 per cent against May. (GSO Jun 2009)
