Vietnam Jan-Apr Imports From Spain Fall 22.8 per cent to US$45.71M
Vietnam reportedly imported US$45.71 million worth of goods from Spain in the first four months of this year, an on-year decrease of 22.8 per cent, said the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) said.
In the period, the country spent US$10.681 million to buy machines, equipment, and spare parts costing, down 58.5 per cent on-year.
It was followed by pharmaceutical products of US$5.41 million, up 2.5 times on-year, milk and milk products of US$3.592 million, and chemical products of US$3.385 million.
Bilateral trade between Vietnam and Spain hit a record high of EUR1.079 billion in 2008, including EUR972.563 million worth of Vietnam’s exports to Spain, up 16.45 per cent on-year and EUR106.106 million Vietnam’s imports, up 6.94 per cent. (Vinanet)
