Da Lat City Plans to Be Expanded by 57,000 Ha

The 16th meeting of the Da Lat City’s People’s Council on June 30, 2009 approved the plan to enlarge Da Lat City by 57,000 hectares in the next decade.

 

According to the planning, the area of Da Lat City will be expanded into parts of Don Duong, Lac Duong, Duc Trong, Lam Ha and Dam Rong districts. By 2020, the additional area will be 57,810 ha, enlarging the city to 96,914 ha. By then, the city will have 432,700 residents.

 

Besides, Da Lat City will give priority to developing cultural, tourist, and financial services.
