Vietnam Spends VND10.3T from G-Bonds on Investment Projects Jan-July
The government of Vietnam disbursed VND10.3 trillion (US$629.411 million) worth of g-bonds, meeting 29 per cent of the full-year target, according to the Ministry of Finance (MOF).
Of that sum, disbursements for educational projects accounted for 43 per cent, followed by transportation and irrigation projects making up 27.5 per cent, and healthcare services representing 25 per cent, the MOF noted.
The government has decided to advance money from state budget estimates from fiscal years of 2010 and 2011 for key projects this year, the MOF added. (CPV)
