MPC Earns US$74.9M from Seafood Exports in Jan-July
Minh Phu Seafood Joint Stock Company (MPC) earned US$74.9 million from exporting 7,316 tons of seafood products in the first seven months this year.
Its export value represented a modest rise of 2.09 per cent against the same period last year despite a strong increase of 20.3 per cent in volume.
In July, the Ca Mau province-based seafood producer attained export value of US$16.6 million.
This year MPC targets to ship 15,500 tons of seafood products abroad, gaining US$162 million. Its net revenues and pretax profit are also expected at VND3,170 billion and VND236 billion, respectively.
MPC shares closed up 5 per cent at VND25,700 on 330,460 shares traded on August 11, including foreign buying of 15,000 shares. (CafeF)
