Sacombank Posts Pretax Profit of VND1.177T in Jan-August
Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial JS Bank (STB), or Sacombank, said in a statement that it made pretax profit of VND136 billion in August, bringing its first eight-month figure to VND1.177 trillion.
The bank said 64% of its earning came from lending activities.
Sacobank, however, did not provide comparative figures of last year.
During the eight-month period, Sacombank had VND75.1 trillion in total deposits and VND51.1 trillion of total outstanding loans.
Its total assets reached VND89.35 trillion as of August 31. Bad debt rate was capped below 0.74%. (CafeF)
