ACB Hikes Registered Capital to US$432M
Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) has already increased its registered capital to VND7.705 trillion (US$432 million) from VND6.356 trillion (US$356.38).
To raise capital, ACB used proceeds from converting 1.35 million bonds into shares on September 10 at 1:100 ratio on September 10.
ACB, 8.76% stake owned by the Standard Chartered Bank, is now the largest bank listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
As of late July, the HCM City-based lender had assets of VND147.16 trillion and deposits of VND109 trillion, including VND105.7 trillion mobilized from individual customers.
This year, ACB plans to have assets of VND170 trillion, deposits of VND130 trillion, total outstanding loans of VND65 trillion, and pretax profit of VND2.7 trillion.
ACB made a pretax profit of VND2.5 trillion in 2008, up 36.9% against the previous year. (CafeF)
