Two Int'l Industrial, Franchising Exhibitions Open in HCM City
Vietnam International Shop Industry Show (VISIS 2009) and Vietnam International Franchise Show (VIFS 2009) took place at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City on September 10.
The three-day events, the first of their kinds held in Southeast Asia, have round 250 booths of 130 domestic and foreign retail companies and franchise-related firms.
VISIS 2009 is showcasing various kinds of equipment and materials needed to operate and manage shops while VIFS was featuring well-known brand names relating to franchising in the fields of food, retail, consulting services and publications.
The Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Co. (VINEXAD) and South Korea’s Convention and Exhibition Company (COEX) and Korea International Trade Association (KITA) co-organized the exhibitions, which is expected to attract over 20,000 visitors.
