Vinashin Affiliate Hands over 13,000-ton Oil-chemical Tanker to Greek Firm
Pha Rung Ship Building Limited Company, an affiliate of Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry group (Vinashin), handed over a 13,000-ton oil-chemical vessel on September 17 to Greek Iason Hellenic Co., Ltd.
The 128m-long, 120m-wide tanker is the first among five vessels that Iason Hellenic commissioned Pha Rung to build.
The ship named KMK Genesis, designed by the Far East Ship Design and Engineering Co., Ltd, has a speed of s13.5 nautical miles per hour.
On the same day, Pha Rung held a naming ceremony for the second tanker. (Investment)
