Vietnam Province Needs VND40T for Industrial Parks through 2020

The northern province of Thai Nguyen estimates that it will require VND40 trillion (US$2.24 billion) for an industrial park development plan through 2020.
 
The investment is expected to come from the state budget and investors’ capital.
 
Under the plan, the province will build five new IPs on a total area of 1,480 hectares, two industrial park and urban complexes of 3,250 hectares and 22 industrial complexes of 1,193 hectares.
 
Currently, Thai Nguyen is home to eight IPs and 27 small industrial complexes located on a site of 10,000 hectares. (Vietnam Economic Times, www.bqlkcnthainguyen.gov.vn)
