Coca-cola Commits Additional US$200M Investment in Vietnam

In a special visit to Vietnam of the Chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola early September 2009, Mr Muhtar Kent revealed Coca Cola’s commitment to invest an additional US$200 million over the next 3 years. Mr Muhtar Kent’s visit to Vietnam is a clear recognition of Coca-Cola’s commitment to Vietnam as a dynamic beverage market. Coca-Cola has invested over US$200 million in Vietnam since 1994 and has bottling plants in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. Coca-Cola in Vietnam provides consumers with a wide range of well-known soft drinks brands including Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, diet Coke, Schweppes, and new products including Minute Maid Splash juice, Joy bottled drinking water and Samurai energy drink.
