Vietnam, Denmark Sign MoU on Cultural Cooperation
Vietnam and Denmark have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cultural cooperation on the occasion of Queen Margrethe II’s nine-day trip to the Southeast Asian nation.
The deal was signed in Hanoi on November 2 by Vietnamese Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh and Danish Minister of Culture Carina Christensen.
Under the MoU, the two sides will boost further cultural and artistic ties and exchange of delegations for the 2009-2014 period.
Currently, Denmark is supporting seven cooperative projects on culture in Vietnam, totaling DKK14 million ($2.78 million).
Eleven cultural events will be organized on Queen Margrethe II’s ongoing trip to Vietnam, with the participation of 250 artists of both nations. (The People, CPV)
