EVN to Invest US$38.5B in Power Projects Next Year
The state-run Electricity of Vietnam Group (EVN) is planning to pour a total of VND711.54 trillion (US$38.5 billion) into power projects next year.
Of the total, the group will invest VND474.66 trillion (US$25.7 billion) into 42 power source projects with a combined capacity of 22,748 MW and the remaining on 110-kV, 220-kV and 500-kV electricity transmission line projects.
EVN expects to operate seven power projects with a combined capacity of 2,130 MW and start building four others with a combined capacity of 2,216 MW in 2010. (Trade & Industry)
