Vietsovpetro to Produce 6.2 Million Tons of Crude Oil Next Year

Vietnam-Russia Oil and Gas Joint Venture (Vietsovpetro) has planned to produce between 6 million and 6.2 million tons of crude oil next year.
 
The joint venture also aims to earn revenues of over US$3 billion in 2010.
 
Vietsovpetro targets to bring ashore 595 million cubic meters of associated gas from the Bach Ho oilfield next year.
 
It will continue to boost oil and gas exploration at blocks 09-1 and 04-3 to raise its oil equivalent reserves to over 15 million tons in 2010.
 
The joint venture produced a total of 6.2 million tons of crude oil as of Dec. 13, completing its full-year target. It targets to produce 6.5 million tons of crude oil this year. (Labourer)
