CMC Releases New Antivirus Version 2010

More than four million computer users have completed upgrading their antivirus software to CMC AntiVirus 2010 (CMC AV) and CMC Internet Security 2010 (CMC IS).

 

From 2010, CMC antivirus products are divided into four categories: 1/ CMC AntiVirus: Free for personal and home use; 2/ CMC Internet Security: Commercial version with many outstanding protection features; 3/ CMC Internet Security, MegaVNN Version that VNPT presents to its MegaVNN internet users with the same features as the commercial version; and 4/CMC Endpoint Security: A total protection version for enterprises.

 

Compared with 2009 version, CMC AV/IS 2010 has terrific progresses in speed, core technology and interface which are the result of more than one year heeding feedbacks and comments from users. Until now, the database virus sample/malware code that CMC identifies amount to 2,384,985 samples, doubling the figure in the same period in 2009.

 

CMC AV 2010 is added personal firewall features to enhance the protection of PCs in the internet environment. Meanwhile, the CMC IS 2010 is added internet content filter function to help parents manage the children internet use more easily. Specifically, CMC Endpoint Security 2010 is equipped with “intruder prevention system”, helping enterprises shield from any virus outbreak even when their operating systems are not fully updated patches.
