Mobile Data Centers Introduced in Vietnam

Mobile Data Centers meeting Tier 4+ standard with lots of advantages for users have recently been introduced to the Vietnamese market by Dot VN, Inc., Vietnam Internet Center (VNNIC) and Elliptical Mobile Solutions (EMS).

 

The new data center of EMS is packed in a RACK box which can easily be set up in a small place or removed somewhere, meeting demands of a wide range of clients. For traditional data centers, their facilities are costly to build and require a large location to place, expensive investment, energy and time. Therefore, the new mobile data centers will help users solve all the above disadvantages of the traditional ones, reduce the size by 50% and save up to 50% of the initial investment.

 

According to Dr. Lee Johnson, General Director & CTO of Dot VN, Dot VN is the sole distributor of the Internet mobile data centers of EMS in Vietnam and non-exclusive distributor in Asia. These centers are expected to save a large amount of capital, time and energy for Vietnam, said Lee, adding that Dot VN will also use the centers for its Internet data centers in Danang, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
