Singapore Olam Group Opens US$50M Instant Coffee Plant in Vietnam
Outspan Vietnam Coffee Co. Ltd under Singapore’s Olam Group Mar 25 opened an instant coffee plant with total investment of US$50 million in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta province of Long An.
The plant has an annual capacity of 4,000 tons and 7,000 tons two years later, and it is the first of its kind in Vietnam.
Most of the plant’s products will be exported to EU, Japan and the U.S.
Olam Vietnam was established in 1990 with a head office located in Dak Lak and its corporate office in Ho Chi Minh City. It is a leading exporter of cashew nuts, pepper and Robusta coffee from Vietnam.
Olam Vietnam has its factories in Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Binh Phuoc, Bien Hoa provinces. (Youth)
