Japan Foster Sets up Electric Unit in Vietnam IP
Japan’s Foster Electric Limited Company has set up a unit at Vietnam’s industrial park (IP).
Foster Electric (Bac Ninh) Co., Ltd has a registered capital of $3 million and headquartered in Vietnam-Singapore Urban-Industrial-Service Project (VSIP) in the northern province of Bac Ninh.
The Bac Ninh province-based unit specializes in producing and trading headphone, loudspeakers and electronic spare parts.
Earlier in March, Sumida Electronic Components Co., Ltd, leading electronic component producer of Japan, set up a unit at Nomura-Haiphong IP in the northern city of Haiphong.
As of end-November last year, Japanese companies invested in $17.8 billion in 1,200 projects in Vietnam, ranking the fourth among foreign countries and territories in the country. (Investment)
