Vietnam Firm to Build $210.3M Tramway in HCM City Aug

BOT Phu My Bridge Joint Stock Company (PMC) will begin construction of a VND4 trillion ($210.3 million) tramway in Ho Chi Minh City on August 18.
 
The 13-kilometer tramway will connect Mien Tay coach station in district 6 and Bach Dang coach station in district 1, Mac Dang Nop deputy general director of PMC said, giving no timetable for the project’s completion.
 
The company will build the tramway under the form of Building-Operation and Transfer (BOT), Nop added.
 
Ho Chi Minh City disbursed VND11.88 trillion for infrastructure projects in the first three months this year, up 15.1% from a year earlier. The city expects to invest VND33.665 trillion in development projects this year. (Investment)
