Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the U.S.’s Department of Agriculture have kicked off a VND100 billion-project to grow 500 hectares of grass in the central province of Phu Yen.

Thuan Dat Co. Ltd will grow the grass mostly for cows.

Under an agreement signed by the two ministries, the firm will provide 100,000 tons of grass to the U.S. and sell the remaining to Vietnam Dairy Products JSC, or Vinamilk. (Countryside Today)
