EVN to Complete VND1.3T Project to Bring Power to Ethnic People in June
The state-owned Electricity of Vietnam Group (EVN) expects to complete a project worth VND1.3 trillion ($68.421 million) to supply electricity to all ethnic minority people in five provinces in central highlands Vietnam in June.
As of April, the project has helped bring electricity to 1,267 out of total 1,327 hamlets in Lam Dong, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces.
The project, which was approved by the government of Vietnam in 2006, is aimed to supply electricity to 120,000 households in the region. (Labor)
