Vietnam KBC to Start Building US$58.31M IP in Northern Province
Kinh Bac City Development Share Holding Corp. (KBC) will begin construction of a VND1.108 trillion (US$58.31 million) industrial park (IP) in Vietnam’s northern province of Quang Ninh.
Phuong Nam IP will be located on a site of 569.27 hectares in Uong Bi Township in the province, Dang Thanh Tam general director of the firm said, giving no timetable for the project’s completion.
Once operated, the park is expected to attract from US$1 billion to US$2 billion investment and create 50,000 jobs, Tam added.
The Hochiminh Stock Exchange-listed firm made a net profit of VND261.55 billion the first three months of this year compared to a loss of VND59.91 billion in the period of last year. (Vietnam Economic Times)
