Caravat.com Announces Networking IQ Survey Result
Caravat.com, the leading business networking website in Vietnam, on 25 May announced the results of the Networking IQ Survey that was conducted from 6 May – 24 May on 8,000+ professionals living and working in Vietnam.
Among the participants, 200 were at C- level with average Networking IQ of 56; 680 were at director level with average Networking IQ of 54; about 4500 manager-level participants got average Networking IQ of 50; the rest were at staff level with average Networking IQ of 47.
In the survey, Networking IQ is divided into 4 levels: only 9 percent of participants reached the Expert Networker level (Networking IQ from 60 - 70); 39 percent were Good Networkers (Networking IQ from 50 - 59); 48 percent were Potential Networkers (Networking IQ from 30 - 49), and the remaining 4 percent were Poor Networkers (Networking IQ < 29). The average Networking IQ of foreigners was significantly higher than that of Vietnamese (52 compared to 48).
The survey revealed an interesting fact that even though employees in foreign invested companies have higher average Networking IQ compared to employees in state-owned companies (50 compared to 44), their results were still lower than those in private companies, especially at high level positions (52 for private companies and 57 for directors at private companies).
