Located in Chau Duc district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, Chau Duc Urban Industrial Zone has a total area 2,287.55 ha. According to the design, this place will be a leading multi-field industrial and urban zone with residential areas, industrial areas, business service areas, schools, amusement parks and other facilities.
After nearly 20 years of construction and development, Sonadezi is known as one of leading enterprises in Vietnam with 24 member companies in a wide range of business fields like industrial park investment, residential one, construction, transport, education and others. The company is now managing eight out of 28 industrial parks in Dong Nai province. Particularly, six industrial parks have been fully rented while the other two have been leased more than a half.
In 2007 Sonadezi set up Sonadezi Chau Duc Joint Stock Company to carry out Chau Duc Urban Industrial Zone project. This is the first industrial park project of Sonadezi in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

Sonadezi - the parent company of Sonadezi Chau Duc - is a leading experienced industrial park developer. The company finds out that domestic developers usually build infrastructure and provide limited services while each investor in industrial park will create jobs for workers who need accommodations and entertainment services among others.
Mr Pham Xuan Bach, General Director of Sonadezi Chau Duc, said: The goal of Sonadezi is to build a new style of modern industrial park where exist both economic and social investments, not only business issues. This means that this industrial park will have entertainment services, schools, hospitals and accommodations for experts and workers here to feel a secure life or plan a family life. The industrial park will be then not just a place to work. There will be a high-rise housing for single employees.
Chau Duc Urban Industrial Zone is built on an area of 2,287 hectares, including 1,550 hectares for industrial production and 700 hectares for social and urban services and infrastructure. Until now, legal procedures related to the project have been basically completed and the investor is drawing up designs for specific works.
Particularly, Chau Duc Urban Industrial Zone is linked to all key local traffic systems: 6 km from the National Road 56, 13 km from the National Road 51, 44 km from Vung Tau City, 67 km from Vung Tau junction, 16 km from the Thi Vai Port, 19 km from the Cai Mep Port, 21 km from the Go Dau Port and 54 km from blue-print Long Thanh International Airport.
A socioeconomic leverage
According to Mr Pham Xuan Bach, one of primary goals of the project is to create a momentum for socioeconomic development. Therefore, when the company builds the urban and industrial park, it will construct resettlement areas in urban section of the park. The investor will also have appropriate solutions and commitments to employ local labourers at the maximum. When this project comes into operation, it is expected to create 80,000 jobs, including 10,000 for local workers, and contribute to the local socioeconomic improvement.
