PetroVietnam Produces 24.41M Tons of Oil Equivalent in 2010
The state-run Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) produced 24.41 million tons of oil equivalent last year, exceeding 6% of the full-year target, Chairman Dinh La Thang said at an online press briefing on Jan 4.
The group produced 15.01 million tons of crude oil and tapped 9.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2010, Thang said.
This year, PetroVietnam plans to produce 23.2 million tons of oil equivalent from 15 million tons of crude oil and 8.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas.
The group targets to produce 142.1 million tons of oil equivalent from 90.5 million tons of crude oil and 51.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the next five years. (pvn.vn)
