Full Financial Support for Border Trade Promotion
The Ministry of Industry and Trade recently issued Circular No. 39/2010/TT-BTC to lay the groundwork for the implementation of trade promotion programmes in border areas. The Ministry will provide full financial supports for publishing bilingual handbooks on “Vietnamese goods and businesses” in Vietnamese-Chinese, Vietnamese-Lao, and Vietnamese-Khmer.
The handbooks will cover customs procedures, types of goods, and retail networks operated by Vietnamese businesses in China, Laos and Cambodia. The publications will also cover Government guidelines and policies on commercial activities in border, mountainous and island areas, studies on trade in border, mountainous and island areas, and stories of successful business models in these areas.
This programme will cover expenses in 2010 (with contracts and receipts) of companies with warehousing, forwarding and transport projects approved. It will fully support expenses for data collection, documentation, topographical and geological surveys for project establishment, construction, administrative procedures and market survey.
