Nghi Son Cement Company Expands Production
The Nghi Son Cement Company produced 1.12 million tonnes of cement and sold 1.1 million in the first six months of this year, earning US$47.8 million in revenues, equal to 50.9 per cent of its yearly plan.
Within its production expansion plans, in the final six months, the company will invest in four additional items, including engines for cement grinding machine 1, the computing system for the central control department, houses for cadres and workers in Ho Chi Minh City.
The company is expanding its production in a second phase with production line 2 at the Nghi Son Cement Plant with a capacity of 2.15 million tonnes per year, a cement distribution station in Khanh Hoa province, and two cement transportation vessels. The company will submit its project to the government for approval late this month.
