Kurabe Industrial Company Ltd Invests in Electronics Parts, Household Utensils

Kurabe Industrial Company Ltd from Japan has just started the construction of a factory in the Vietnam-Singapore industrial park in the southern province of Binh Duong at a design cost of over US $30 million.

The project is to specialise in industrial accessories such as insulating materials, electronic parts, and household utensils.

Once completed in 2005, the project brought to 40 the number of Japan-invested projects in Binh Duong province with a combined capital of over US $400 million and to 20 in the Vietnam-Singapore industrial park, capitalised at US $155 million in total.

So far this year alone, the Vietnam-Singapore industrial park has attracted 18 foreign investment projects with a combined capital of over US $53 million and another US $50 million as additional investment to 20 operating projects. As a result, the park now houses 128 foreign investment projects with a combined capital of over US $800 million.
