More Industrial Enterprises to be Equitised
According to a plan approved by the Prime Minister, this year the Ministry of Industry will have 52 State-owned enterprises equitised. The situation continues to improve as 92 enterprises have already registered for equitisation and the figure may even increase.
Mr. Le Quoc An, Chairman of the Management Board of the Textile-Garment Corporation said that 23 enterprises of the corporation will be equitised, ten enterprises more than the planned target set early this year. Among them 7 enterprises were scheduled for equitisation in 2005 but have asked for an earlier transformation. Even the two enterprises planned to become one-member limited liability companies have also asked to be equitised. This year, the corporation will complete the equitisation of 15 enterprises.
