Entrepreneur Vu Huu Tue Does Utmost for Homeland Construction

HDI Thai Binh Package Enterprise was transformed into a joint stock company from a state-owned enterprise in 2005. After experiencing difficulties and challenges, the enterprise has now become an exemplary business in Thai Binh province and played a significant role in promoting the provincial economy and creating many jobs. The development of HDI Thai Binh Package Enterprise is closely linked with businessman Vu Huu Tue.

 

After going public, the enterprise faced numerous difficulties arising from varying points of view from the staff, shrinking production, and rising layoffs. Then, the economic crisis set off a series of negative impacts like galloping inflation, rising material prices and difficult access to capital. All these difficulties are weighing on the shoulders of the enterprise’s leaders. How to help HDI survive through the crisis and enter a stable development period is an intractable problem. As a leader of the enterprise, Vu Huu Tue adopted a recovery roadmap and a flexible and creative development plan. He boldly proposed solutions and development strategies to the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee. With the support of provincial authorities and endless efforts of the staff, the enterprise went into stable operation and developed gradually. In 2009, the enterprise not only escaped from difficulties but also achieved growth of more than 40 percent over 2008. HDI Thai Binh Package Enterprise generated more jobs, paid increasing taxes to the State and ensured sustainable development in all aspects.

 

“My decision to set aside my civil engineering degree with 16 years experience to move to a new business field was a turning point in my life, and my success with the Long Hau Ceramic brand helped me revive the HDI Thai Binh Package Enterprise. This is probably the most memorable landmark of my life," said Vu Huu Tue.

 

In recognition of the development of HDI Thai Binh Package Enterprise, the Vietnam Association for Small and Medium Enterprises awarded him the Vietnam Golden Business Award 2009 and Vietnam Golden Entrepreneur Award 2009. He was also honourably bestowed the Gold Cup for Vietnam Entrepreneur of Culture. When he was in office, he held different positions and always fulfilled his tasks excellently. He used to be a senior party official and trade union chairman in his company. He repeatedly won the ‘emulating soldier’ title. Another great honour to Entrepreneur Vu Huu Tue was being selected as one of 1,000 Thang Long entrepreneurs in commemoration of the 1,000^th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi. With his contributions to his ‘Vu’ family in Thai Binh province, he was added to the “Vu Family’s Elites” in January 2008 in recognition of his contributions to his lineage.

 

With his enormous contributions to Thai Binh province prosperity, Entrepreneur Vu Huu Tue well deserves to be named among the Top 100 prominent cultured entrepreneurs in the country.
