PVI Launches PVI Holdings, Two Affiliates
PetroVietnam Insurance Company (PVI) hosted a solemn ceremony at the International Convention Centre on July 18, 2011 to receive the noble Labour Hero title, and launch PVI Holdings and two affiliates: PVI Insurance Corporation and PVI Reinsurance Company.
State President Nguyen Minh Triet, on the behalf of the Party and the State, bestowed the Labour Hero title on PVI for “its extraordinarily excellent achievements in labour, creation and contributions to the cause of constructing the socialism and protecting the nation.”
In praise of PVI, President Triet said “In the coming time, central tasks of PVI are still ensuring the safety of operations and assets of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group.”
PVI General Director Bui Van Thuan was also granted the Second-grade Labour Order.
