Despite just being founded in 2007, Shinec - Thinh Loc Forest ProductJoint Stock Company has made a strong impression on farmers as well as investors. With its own methods and appropriate strategies, Shinec - Thinh Loc Forest Product has overcome the tough times of the economic crisis, ensuring stable and sustainable development.
Mr Le Minh Tan, Chairman cum General Director of Shinec - Thinh Loc Forest Product JSC, said that with a passion for forest planting from childhood, after coming back from the army in 1983, he began as a worker in the plantation, which gave him time to gain experience as well as deeper understanding about forestry. After working at some state enterprises, Mr Tuan established Shinec - Thinh Loc Forest Product JSC. In spite of facing many difficulties, with a passion for forestry, he determined that the challenge was first winning trust from farmers so that they could together plant and protect the forest. Annually, the scale of newly planted forest by the company is approximately from 200 to 400 hectares; besides, the company also supports planters by supplying seedlings, fertilizer, and tending techniques.
In addition to forest planting activities to improve forest products’ quality, the company has invested into a wood manufacturing factory in Dong Tan commune, Huu Lung district with modern equipment, Taiwan, China, German production lines to manufacture wooden export products of high value such as veneer and plywood; each year, the factory sends out about 2,000 cubic meters of finished products in varied types. The company usually sends its staff and workers to study and practice to apply technologies in planting and tending forest.
Besides forest planting and exploitation, Shinec - Thinh Loc Forest Product JSC also gives priority to developing a restaurant, Tra Linh in Dong Tan commune, Huu Lung district, with professional staff in a luxurious setting to adequately meet tourists’ needs when they come to Lang Son. Expanding its business, the company has invested in building materials in Cai Kinh commune, Huu Lung district with modern production line from exploding drill to manufacture finished stone, willing to provide building materials for works in Lang Son province with ensured material quality standards.
Shinec - Thinh Loc Forest Product JSC and many other enterprises still need assistance from central and local governments, like support of capital, interest rate, administrative procedure reform etc, which guarantees enterprises to produce and invest into new fields.
