Denmark Funds Fine Arts Education
The Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung recently approved the Danish-funded project on promoting fine arts education at primary schools in the 2011-2015 period.
The Danish Government will provide the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training with a non-refundable aid of US$730,000 to finance the project.
The project will build up children-centered teaching methodologies and documents with the aim of encouraging children to think creatively and develop knowledge on arts.
The new teaching methodologies developed during the project’s implementation will be shown in primary students’ new textbooks to be published in 2015.
