PV Oil Phu My was formerly the Condensate Processing Plant affiliated with Vietnam Oil Corporation (PV Oil) and started operations in 2004. Following the transformation policy of the State-owned Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), Phu My Oil and Gas Production and Processing Joint Stock Company (PV Oil Phu My) was set up on December 1, 2010 from the restructuring of the former factory. The transformation into a joint stock company has opened a new stage of the company’s strategic business development as it helps rapidly accelerate growth and boost development. At present, PV Oil Phu My processes M83, M92 and M95-grade gasoline and other products sourced from condensate in Bach Ho (White Tiger), Rong Doi (Twin Dragons), and Nam Con Son fields, as well as condensate imported from other countries.
With the support from Vietnam Oil Corporation (PV Oil) coupled with the dynamism, creativity and sensibility of the whole company, PV Oil Phu My is a strong performer in the industry. This growth is clearly reflected by the significantly improved living quality of workers. According to company management, "Our ultimate goal is to constantly self-improve to raise the profile of PV Oil Phu My in particular and PV Oil Corp in general while ensuring sustainability, efficiency and environmental safety, orienting to public interest, and effectively serving the cause of national industrialisation and modernisation.”
