Draft of National Action Plan on Environment Protection

The General Department of Environment has built a draft on national action plan on environment protection in 2011-2020 period.

 

The draft is aimed to enhance efficiency of management and cooperation of agencies in implementing environmental action plans; concretize objectives and contents of the national action plan and ensure the plan integration as well as coordination among localities in environment protection along with public participation.

 

The draft plan includes four objectives: Controlling the increasing environmental pollution and biodiversity degradation, improving living environment quality and enhancing capacity to respond to climate change.

It also defines eight prioritised contents and projects divided into two groups of non-structural and structural measures.

 

As scheduled, the draft plan will be submitted to the Prime Minister in early 2012.
