UMW Equipment Systems (Vietnam) Co., Ltd (UMW Vietnam), a subsidiary of UMW Group, was established on 14August 1997. UMW Vietnam is the sole authorized distributor for Toyota Industrial Equipment (Engine and Electric powered forklift truck, towing tractor) and BT (full range of indoor warehouse trucks). UMW Vietnam is the one-stop solution provider for a wide range of equipment parts, tyres and traction batteries, and has a strong technical service team providing nationwide, quality repair and maintenance services.
Over a decade, UMW Vietnam is proud of becoming a supplier of forklift trucks and equipment for large companies in Vietnam such as Coca-Cola, Vietnam Brewery Limited, Unilever, Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Kinh Do Bakery and many large and small companies nationwide.
“We have seen a rapid growth of business activities and industries in Vietnam. So UMW Vietnam is focusing on our main products, i.e. forklift trucks and other equipment, to support our customers in Vietnam. We have a desire to create new breakthroughs in our presence and relationship with customers,” said Mr Ng Seng Hwa, Operation Manager of UMW Vietnam.
UMW Vietnam provides a wide range of services including warranty; spare parts, traction batteries and solid tyres; after-sales service, minor and major repairs; and service contracts for preventive maintenance.
Understanding the concerns of its partners and customers, UMW Vietnam has put a lot of effort and emphasis on building a strong local service team, with adequate training and service facilities to meet customer demand. At the same time, in order to promote “think-safety-drive-safety”, UMW Vietnam also provides additional training for its customers’ operators/maintenance teams on proper maintenance skills and safety knowledge.
