Notably, most projects undertaken by D2D are big projects in Dong Nai province, including the Road 5 linking Bien Hoa City to a 40-hectare Duong 5 residential zone, the 350-hectare Nhon Trach 2 Industrial Park, An Binh Apartment, etc. These projects bring in economic and social benefits for Dong Nai province in particular and the whole country in general. Road 5 is called a milestone project in the company history because it was voted a Top 10 event in Dong Nai province in 2005 as this road markedly improved traffic in Bien Hoa City, the heart of Dong Nai province. D2D plays a decisive role in transforming a swampy, roadless, powerless, waterless, infertile areas into a new 70-ha urban zone at the heart of Bien Hoa City in the near future.

 

Following the success of these projects, D2D is focusing on many new projects on hopes that these projects will lay a good ground for D2D to develop in following years and to assert the name of leading construction and real estate company in Dong Nai. Major underway projects undertaken by the company include the second-phase urban face embellishment project in Thong Nhat Ward, Bien Hoa City (VND774 billion), Pho Cho and Quan Thu - Long Thanh Market project (VND254 billion), Loc An - Long Thanh residential project (VND120 billion), 181-ha Thanh Phu urban zone in Vinh Cuu district (VND829 billion), etc. These projects will be put into operation in 2011 and subsequent years. This is the groundwork for D2D to attain annual growth of 10 percent and dividend payout ratio of 20 percent a year in the 2011 - 2015 period.

 

It is obvious that D2D-invested projects are of great importance and true value to Dong Nai province. It not only leaves its imprints on its projects but also expresses its power, dynamism when it joins hands with domestic and foreign investors to develop its brand. Specifically, the company signed a joint venture agreement with Malaysia's Berjaya Corporation Berhad to set up Berjaya - D2D Company with a registered capital of US$20 million. The joint venture company does business, builds restaurants, hotels, trade centres, condos along the extended Road 5. The US$100 million project called Bien Hoa City Square, carried out by Berjaya - D2D, is expected to make a prominent landmark in the panoramic picture of Bien Hoa City.
