Vina Nha Trang: Renovation to Develop

 

Formerly known as Vina Cafe Mechanical Factory, a subsidiary of Vietnam National Coffee Corporation, Vina Nha Trang was equitised in September 2004, specialising in engineering, manufacturing, delivering and installing coffee processing equipment for domestic consumption as well as export. Since its establishment, company experienced immense difficulties, such as: small factory, obsolete manufacturing equipment, shortage and incapacity of employees, limited financial resources, and lack of highly competitive products. After being equitised, Vina Nha Trang has step by step stabilised and improved, so its market has continuously expanded. Furthermore, Vina Nha Trang established its production and operation in a large scale, which included vast factory with modern infrastructure and techniques; gradually invested and renewed professional equipment for manufacturing and processing; and applied advanced technology.

 

Currently, Vina Nha Trang is capable of manufacturing not only a whole production line from the stage of processing fresh coffee beans to the stage of processing coffee for export, but also coffee drying and grinding equipment. Moreover, machineries, coffee and agriculture products drying equipment; dry coffee mill equipment; wet coffee processing equipment; and classification system equipment are products that affirm the Vina Nha Trang trademark domestically and internationally and earn trust from its customers.

 

Besides coffee, the company has also expanded its operation to produce processing equipment for other agriculture products like peppers, green beans, soy beans, peanuts, corn, with black pepper processing equipment, black pepper sterilising equipment; corn drying equipment, silo system with capacity of over 1,000 tonnes of agriculture products; and green beans mill processing system.

 

According to the criteria of putting product quality and trademark at the top, the whole equipment products of Vina Nha Trang has been persistently renovated, basically on the investment in modern technologies, application of world advanced technologies in its products, especially on high quality coffee processing equipment, meeting standard requirements to export. Quality and technical features of products of Vina Nha Trang have increasingly optimised following these criteria: The availability to all subjects, long-lasting, good design, energy saving, friendly to environment, competitive prices in comparison with same products in the market. The company’s products not only meet technological requirements for processing of high quality agricultural products, but also ensure standards of food hygiene and safety, enhancing the position of agricultural products of Vietnam in the international market.

 

The trademark of Vina Nha Trang was registered for protection according to provisions, considered one of the leading competitive factors of the enterprise, contributing to increasing the market share in the domestic market and exports. By now, Vina Nha Trang has provided over 80 percent of equipment processing coffee and agricultural products for the domestic market and pushed up exporting to countries in the region such as Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar, and it is approaching other countries such as USA, Australia, Brazil and Uganda.

 

With those impressive achievements, Vina Nha Trang Engineering Joint Stock Company was honoured to welcome Chairman of National Assembly Nguyen Phu Trong (presently the General Secretary of Communist Party of Vietnam); to receive the emulation award by the government. It has been awarded numerous honours from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa province, Vietnam National Coffee Corporation, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other authorities and organisations.
