US DoC Reinvestigates Vietnamese Shrimp Firms
A working group of the US Department of Commerce (DoC) will visit Vietnam from August 25 to September 10 to undertake investigations at the four Vietnamese shrimp processing enterprises that have been accused of dumping shrimps in the US, said Truong Dinh Hoe, Vice General Secretary of the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).
DoC will spend most of the time working with the four firms of Kim Anh, Minh Phu, Minh Hai and Camimex and is likely to look into other shrimp processing enterprises. Vietnam is the first country that DoC will investigate amongst the numerous other countries accused of shrimp dumping.
