Identifying quality, in-depth investment and human resources as key to integration and development, Vinacomin Machinery JSC (VMC) has been determined to make further development steps toward new heights in national industrialization and modernization.
Vinacomin Machinery Joint Stock Company was founded in 1977, under Vietnam National Coal – Mineral Industries Group. With a convenient location beside Ha Long Bay, connected to China and other national economic zones by Highway 18A and nearby Cua Ong International Port and Cai Lan deep water port, imported and exported materials and machines are quickly transferred anywhere in the world.
At the moment, VMC is mostly involved in doing business on building materials, oxygen, azote, high-voltage concrete pipe; exporting and importing materials, machines, components and commodities serving production and daily life; casting and laminating steel, amending and manufacturing equipment and components for the energy and mineral industries; processing and consuming coal; providing services of investigating, verifying pressure joints, hydropower equipment, constructing industrial works; and sea transport.
After over 30 years, VMC has a team of experienced engineers and technicians with a full suite of skills serving the company’s production. To fulfil manufacturing requirements, VMC has purchased modern equipment and production lines to manufacture 32,000 tonnes of product per year, serving coal exploitation and other industries. Moreover, company members make up a complete circle of technology, from casting, rolling, and mechanical processing to assembling.
Concerning the motto “Following for mutual development,” Mr Nguyen Cong Hoan, Director General of the Company, said “During its operation, VMC has always actively associated with many big mechanical firms in countries such as France, Japan, Russia, India, Australia, Canada, Germany, Denmark, South Korea and China to manufacture products of all types, such as equipment for the cement industry, steel rolling plants, sugar factory, pressure pipes, steel frames, zinc-plated pits, generator frames for hydro and thermoelectric plants, equipment for mining, fertilizers, chemicals, and building material industries. In both national and international association work, VMC has always emphasized quality, progress and price competition, in which the top factor is quality. As a result, seeing the company’s success, VMC’s partners have all been satisfied with the association results, especially product quality.”
