French Firms Explore Vietnamese Plastic Market

A representative delegation of 10 French companies arrived in Vietnam to explore the local plastic and packaging market and opportunities. During the trip held by the French Trade Commission (Ubifrance) to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from February 28 to March 2, 2012, the visitors hosted more than 50 meetings with local companies to introduce their technologies and services with the aim of establishing sustainable partnerships in trade, industry and technology.

 

French companies also optimised partnership ties through meetings at the “Plastic and Rubber Vietnam 2012” and “Propak Vietnam 2012” exhibitions, which drew over 200 exhibitors and 7,000 visitors.

 

Outstanding visiting French companies included JM Polymers Et Paprec and Rep International.
